Installation Guide - Spigot/Paper/Purpur
NOTE: If you have a Velocity or BungeeCord network, do not follow this guide. Instead, refer to our specific guides for Velocity or BungeeCord.
This guide is for those who are not using Velocity, BungeeCord, or similar network softwares. If you are unsure what these are, this is the correct tutorial for you.
1. Install your setup
Before beginning to install the Geyser Addon, you should completely install the setup that you are going to use the Geyser Addon for. Make sure that the setup is installed correctly by following our installation guides.
2. Download the Geyser Addon
Now download the Geyser Addon files from BuiltByBit. When you unzip the files, you should see 3 different folders along with the Installation Guide like the picture below:

For this guide, you only need the GeyserAddonPaper folder. Ignore the 2 other folders. In here, you should see a plugins folder.
3. Uploading the plugin files
Before completing this step you should stop your server.
Now drag and drop the content of the Geyser Addon's plugins folder into your server's plugins folder.

When you have uploaded the files, start your server and stop it again to prepare for the next step.
4. Setup the Geyser plugin
Now you have to setup the Geyser plugin on your server by inserting the correct IP and Port for your server. The method for setting up Geyser depends on what host you are using.
You should go through the Geyser installation guide here: Link
5. Changing setup settings
For Geyser to work properly, you have to change a few settings in the setup.
First locate this file: plugins > ForcePack > config.yml In here, set the geyser setting to true like shown below: (You can find it by searching with Crtl + F)
geyser: false > geyser: true
Then locate this file: plugins > LuckPerms > config.yml In here, set the allow-invalid-usernames setting to true like shown below: (You can find it by searching with Crtl + F), (It might already be set to true)
allow-invalid-usernames: false > allow-invalid-usernames: true
6. Start your server
Everything should be ready to go now, and you can start your server and join with Minecraft Bedrock. The IP you join your server with from Minecraft Bedrock depends on how you have setup Geyser on your server.
7. Troubleshooting
If are unable to join your server from Minecraft Bedrock after following this guide and installing the Geyser Addon, here are a few tips to troubleshoot the issue:
Try to update the Geyser-Spigot and floodgate-spigot plugins to the latest version. You can download the latest version of the plugins here: https://geysermc.org/download
Try to update the ViaVersion plugin on your server to the latest version: https://www.spigotmc.org/resources/viaversion.19254/
Make sure you followed all steps in the guide correctly. Or try to follow all the steps again. Installing the Geyser Addon twice wont break anything.

How To Edit The Geyser PacksLimitations
While the Geyser Addon enables Bedrock support, there are a few important limitations due to differences between the Java and Bedrock editions. However, these typically have minimal impact on overall gameplay for your players. All major limitations are listed below:

Clickable links in the chat will not work for Bedrock players.
Custom heads in inventories will not display correctly for Bedrock players.
Stat bars in the PlayerProfile and Playstyles menus will not display for Bedrock players.
The player marker will not display in the Live Map menu for Bedrock players.
Guild badges will not work/display for Bedrock players.
The skilltree progress map will not display fully for Bedrock players.
The claiming map in the claiming menu will not work for Bedrock players.
The horse stats in the horse stable menus will not display for Bedrock players.
