## Selecting The Prefixes You Need

All the prefixes in the prefix packs come as a whole PNG file. But it is extremely easy to cut the prefixes out to individual PNG files if you know how to do it.

To cut out the prefixes, you have to use a graphics bitmap graphics app. We recommend the app [Paint.NET](https://www.getpaint.net/) as this is fairly easy to use and it is free.

The video below shows how to cut out the prefixes in Paint.NET:

## Adding The Prefixes To A Texturepack

When you have cut out the prefixes you need into individual PNG files, its time to add the prefixes to your texturepack.

{% hint style="info" %}
If you have made and saved it correctly, the graphic should have a height of 14 pixels.
{% endhint %}

The video below shows how to add the prefix graphic to a texturepack:

{% embed url="<https://youtu.be/nmX0gLpN41E>" %}

You can download the texturepack created in the video below, and use it as a template for your own texturepack.

{% file src="/files/NFEocKvzogxuBa4XHQJ2" %}

When you have added the prefixes to your texturepack and you are able to see your graphics when you paste the connected font symbol in chat. Then you can add that font symbol as the prefix in LuckPerms or whatever permission plugin you are using.

You can add the resourcepack to your server in the server.properties file. The following tutorial teaches you how to do that easily: [Click here](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qCVPgn3IppU\&t=110s\&ab_channel=KasaiSora)

If you want to force players to use your resourcepack, you can use the plugin ForcePack: [Click here ](https://www.spigotmc.org/resources/forcepack.45439/)
